SAUMIAN SIVAYOGARAJASINGAM
Saumian Sivayogarajasingam an Australian, aged 28, was appointed as the Project Manager of LARICO INFRASTRUCTURE SDN BHD upon incorporation on 2nd July 2007.
He graduated from the University of Technology, Sydney in 2002 attaining a Bachelor of Business (Banking and Finance) when he was aged 19 and completed his Masters in Business Administration (Professional Accounting) at the age of 21.
He commenced his management career as an Operations Coordinator in 2002 with the Australian office of a large multi-national. He was head-hunted to join a leading Australian insurance company in 2004 and was responsible for managing the claims and underwriting department.
In 2007, he returned to Malaysia to fulfill his ambitions to develop his career in the construction industry and is currently responsible for the overall management of LARICO.
He was appointed as an Executive Director of LARICO INFRASTRUCTURE SDN BHD on 8th August 2011.
WILLIAM MOK ING WEN
William Mok Ing Wen a Malaysian, aged 40, was appointed as the Group General Manager (Projects) of LARICO INFRASTRUCTURE SDN BHD and an Executive Director of LARICO CONSTRUCTION SDN BHD in 2011.
He graduated from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), Australia with a Bachelor of Construction Economics in 1997 and commenced his career working with an Australian firm.
Upon return to Sarawak, Malaysia in 2000, he joined a civil engineering firm and was involved with the construction of the Durin Bridge in Sibu, Sarawak.
He then moved on to a large multinational firm owned by the Chinese Government and was responsible for coordination of various large scale projects including the Bakun Hydroelectric Power Project with a contract value of approximately RM1.8 Billion. Since the year 2005, he was directly involved with transmission line projects being aggressively developed in the State of Sarawak which included the successful implementation of the 132kV Selangau – Mukah Transmission Line Project which was successfully executed within a record period of 10 months.
In 2011, he founded LARICO CONSTRUCTION SDN BHD with a view of concentrating on transmission line projects being executed within the State of Sarawak.
He is primarily responsible for the overall operations of the LARICO Group of Companies within the State of Sarawak and under his leadership and guidance we will be in a position to expand our presence in the State.
IR HAJI YASIMIN BIN HAJI YUSOFF
Ir Haji Yasimin a Malaysian, aged 50, was appointed as an Executive Director of LARICO INFRASTRUCTURE SDN BHD upon incorporation on 2nd July 2007.
He graduated from West Virginia Institute Of Technology (WVIT) with a Bachelor Of Science in Civil Engineering in 1985 and is currently registered with the Board Of Engineers, Malaysia as a Professional Engineer. Prior to commencing his education at the WVIT he commenced his career with Jabatan Kerja Raya and was posted to Ibu Pejabat Bekalan Air as an Assistant Engineer. Upon graduation from WVIT, he returned to Malaysia and joined Maintenance Engineering Sdn Bhd (MESB) in 1985 as a Project Engineer and worked his way through to Senior Manager (Transmission Line Projects). During his tenure at MESB, he was crucial in spearheading the company from a small trading company to become an industry leader in the last decade.
He has vast experience in the transmission line and civil engineering field enabling his entrepreneurial skills to strengthen and grow the business. LARICO has done exceptionally well since the commencement of its operations in 2008 and has steady order book moving into the next decade.
Yasimin is responsible for business development, project management, strategic planning and the overall operations of LARICO. Under his leadership and guidance, we will emerge as a market leader in the coming decade.
NADARAJAH SIVAPRAGASAM
Nadarajah Sivapragasam a Malaysian, aged 64, was appointed as an Executive Director of LARICO INFRASTRUCTURE SDN BHD on 1st July 2008.
He commenced his career with Tenaga Nasional Berhad work in1964 and served with them until his subsequent retirement in 2000. With over 36 years of financial and commercial expertise obtained from his service with Tenaga Nasional Berhad, he is primarily responsible for the financial management of LARICO.
Upon his retirement from Tenaga Nasional Berhad he headed the Administration Department at Trenergy Infrastructure Sdn Bhd prior to joining LARICO in 2008.
With his vast industry and commercial experience, he is in a solid position to prepare LARICO during these years of growth and maintain the current strength and integrity of the company.
